Loading and unloading Motorcycles-The easy way

Just about every forum I read regarding Toy Haulers, many Motorcycle guys have trouble backing down the ramp. I was looking for a solution, simple and easy. I came across "Cycle Spinner". Basically a turntable. Drive in-drive out. Worth it if you dump once backing down.

The Stand Disc looks a lot more reasonable, although IMO backing your bike out with all the weight downhill and the front brake used for control seems a lot safer. I also find it more stable to walk beside the bike on the way down than to sit on it.

I would never walk next to it, straddling it you can balance it, walking next to it you could pop something trying to keep it from going over to passenger side.

My thoughts exactly, although I do straddle mine and use front and rear brakes to back down.

Re. The Condor: don't the little wheels cause the frame of the loader to high center on the top of the ramp?

After dumping my GoldWing 1500 a second time i Got one of these "Condor CL1000 Cycle Loader" and a 2500lb winch from Harbor Freight. I just walk beside it up or down the ramp.

I'm interested in this issue right now because I need to pull a trailer behind my FW with two Yamaha TW200 and a 650 V Star. I wondered about a way to at least spin the v star around or be able to put them on from one side and off the other side like some quads are loaded.

See if they make a centerstand for the V-Star, I can spin my 1800 Goldwing around on the centerstand

TURNCYCLE MOTORCYCLE CENTER STAND DISC

Only aware of it, haven't used.

Dare I be so bold as to say that if you need that thing you should be looking at trikes?

I assumed it was round since he referred to it as a turntable? Well, it doesn't appear to be 4' wide for the full length so maybe not quite 9' at the widest point.

An interesting idea, but would limit you to one bike.

And personally I'd rather back out than ride out front first, that just looks too scary. I've always hated riding downhill, and having that front tire wash out going down a steep ramp could be worse than putting it over on its side backing down. I think I'll stick to backing out.

Most 102" wide Toy Haulers give you 97"-98" wall to wall. I have no affiliation with the company. Direct specific questions to them. Thanks for the reply!
