If you get the camper and towing options on the 3/4 ton then you get the larger 1 ton brakes and suspension system.

It's doubtful that your trailer weighs as much as you think. Sounds as if your numbers are the weight of the trailer and the maximum cargo in it. You should visit a set of scales to see where you really stand.
I have a 3/4 ton diesel crew cab, and I limited myself to 11K dry weight and 2K dry kingpin lbs. in a trailer.
All of the Big Country and Big Horn models, except maybe the smallest one, will exceed the capabilities of single rear wheels due to their limited pin weight. Such trailers need a 1 ton dual rear wheel.

Thanks Lyle. The bad thing is trying to find out if it's legal in my state, SC. Then when you move into a neighboring state if it's legal there, especially with the controversy surrounding it's designation. I still would like to know where I can get one. thanks. Glen

I had an f250 with a 28ft 5er. When I moved up to my 33ft 5er with 2 slides, I immediately got an f350 diesel dually. I love my truck!!!!!
Intresting I pull a 33' 5er with a Ram 2500 and it handles the load fine. The 5er has a 12,360# GVWR and tows at about 11,000#.

Don't need a "dully." Did you mean Dually?
Don't need brakes either, but both sure come in handy.
