Now that I'm into the toy hauler category I've come to realize what an investment I have in tires.

Truck = 7
Trailer = 7
Toy = 4 (or 8 since I upgraded and kept the stockers)

That's 22 friggin tires! :E

I learned a while ago not to count stuff like that! Are you guys even including the old tires you have sitting in the woods behind your shed?

And there is no way I'm going to add up all the "fees" I pay to the state department of motor vehicles to keep all my stuff registered and/or licensed...

Ah ha!!! That explains why they wouldn't give me a pro-rated discounted when I tried to trade in four used ones for a new set.

You may want to rethink your investment proposal ๐Ÿ™‚

Almost all new tires don't contain much natural rubber. Its synthetic rubber made from petroleum distillate byproducts. Generally, only snow tires use high percentages of natural rubber anymore because it stays softer when cold. That's partly why snow tires cost more.
