I'm getting ready to have a week off from work. For the last 4 years and till I retire, I take the whole week off after Memorial Day. My wife and I are headed to NE Oregon and SE Washington to ride some scenic roads on the Victory.
I loaded up the new Go Power 120W portable solar panel and the King Tailgater. Plus the Green Mountain Davy Crockett Grill.
That and other stuff, didn't even put a dent in the basement storage.

Backpacker and tent camper all my life. Motorcycle trips with a tent too 1978 to Present. 2016 Grand Design 380TH as of 10-29-2015. Now a New 2018 374TH-R Solitude as of 3-16-19. 10-19-18-traded truck for a 2016 Ram 3500 DRW Laramie Crew Cab 4x4 Long Box.

I installed a set of JT Strong-Arm stabilizers. I had to add some C-channel to the center mount of the rear stabs to gain enough clearance on the rear jacks. What a difference they make inside the coach.

Just not smart enough to post a picture or link... HARRUMPH!

Just added 3 Zamp US made Solar Panels "Smart GLass" rated at 160 watts and they are putting out 180 watts! What a difference it has made in battery management and charge level! No more Inventor Alarms at 4 am and so far no need for Generator at night.. Got set up at Back Conutry Solar in Cortex Colo.

I am moving more and more in this direction. Added 4 AGM batteries last year and want to do a Magnum MS2012 inverter/charger this year. Hopefully add some panels after that.

What did your panels run, if you don't mind me asking?

Have any of you guys had to repair a tailgate? I have a Weekend Warrior FTL4005 and the tailgate has a soft spot in it. Just wondering what is under the flooring material that is on it.

Do a search on this forum, there are a couple of people that have done this awhile back.

On mine the transition area between the garage and the rear door became soft in 2 decent sized areas. Brought it in to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty and even added a diamond plate hinged flap to cover the whole section. Made me happy. Couldn't see the actual flooring under the rubber matting since the underbody is enclosed.

I got tired of them always thrown underneath the beds or in the storage area and all tangled up. Its simple scrap pieces of wood I had laying around the garage. Added a lip and some j hooks to hold some bugee cords.

This is dead space between the rear ramp and over head storage. Im going to add something similar to the other side so my kids can hang a couple of sweaters or hats.

I stained the wood so its no so plain.

You can buy something similar which I was considering doing but then realized the rails to my Happijac bed that run down the sidewalls in my garage area make for a perfect spot to attach my tie down straps. Use what is already there...

I had a reputable shop do the work... Yeah I really don't know why they set them up as spring-under from the Eclipse factory. I don't know of to many trucks that could tow this trailer level the way it sits unless it was an older 2WD. But not many who buy these things drive 2WD trucks. Most if not all of the other manufacturers have caught on and are going spring-over from the factory these days.

I ended up buying a big 8ft long piece of 4x12 Redwood that I cut into 12"x12" blocks and attached handles to them to use as blocks for the landing gear and rear stab jacks. Without the 4" blocks they are about maxed out to hit the ground.

Axle flip, Dexter EZ-Flex, and good tires (Bridgestone Duravis R250s). Life is better now not having to think about blowouts... And towing is noticeably improved now that the trailer tows level.

I hope your axle flip went smoothly. I really think the 28sag was built to have the axles flipped. I like the better towing and being level as well. The DW was more concerned with getting the bottom entry step from almost touching the ground. Not much difference in loading toys either. I was a little concerned with how well the rear stabilizer jacks would work. Seem to work fine.

Enjoy!

Had a tough time deciding between the Equa-Flex or EZ-Flex but went with recommendation from the shop who installed saying they've had less issues with the Dexter units.
