Class B Campsite Photos - Let's See Them!

I am doing a copycat from the Class C forum. I thought it would be nice to see some "Killer B" camp sites.

Here is one from July 1. It was at a friends house in the country who was nice enough to invite people over for the holiday weekend.





I had to depart Saturday July 2 for a family get together but returned Sunday evening for a fireworks display. I lost my spot. 🙂
A great time was had by all as we saw fireworks in neighboring towns.

Dispersed campsite on the Kaibab Plateau

We attended a Halloween Roadtrek Rally in Ashford, CT a couple of weeks ago. It was a lot of fun. About 30 Roadtreks were there with a few of the 'Big Guys.' We had a great time.

Here's my rig with our dinghy in front of it...


And, here's a pic of some of the RT's together in the 'Rally Field'... I couldn't get a wide enough shot to cover them all.


This campground has beautiful streams all around it. 130 acres.

Hi NCWriter! Being from NH I am used to travelling in snow - even carry tire chains - but with no where in particular to go, figured we'd just sit tight and enjoy it! Better than trying to travel on snowy roads with others who have no clue how to drive in that stuff!!! Was glad they let us run the genny whenever we wanted - kept things from freezing up. We DO enjoy NC - gotta get back for the rest of the Blue Ridge! ST

Loggenrock, great photo. Glad you enjoyed the sunny south. I always carry a little extra food and water, and your two night unanticipated overstay reminds me it's probably a good idea!

Actually, we're pulling out of the campsite here. The actual site was several handred yards behind, along a mountain stream at a dispersed campsite up in the Isabel Mountains in Colorado.

Caught in the snow on the Skyline Drive in Virginia! Taken at Lewis Mountain Campground on October 29, 2011. 8.5" of snow fell, temperatures dropped to 28º, officials closed the park to travel. Sat tight for 2 nights, was able to leave about noon on Sunday and continue on our way. We survived just fine - better than many of the folks in family tents out for a camping trip on Halloween weekend! ST

We returned from a 2 week trip to Virginia last week and stayed mostly in State Parks.
First night, ReedBingham SP in Georgia.


2nd night, Hart SP, GA


4th night, Lake Hartwell SRA, SC.


9th night, Hamilton Branch SRA, SC.

Virginia had the most expensive park, South Carolina and Georgia the cheapest and the best. The fall colors on the Blue Ridge Parkway were great.


10th night, Laura Walker SP, GA
