I have 2 slides on my 2003 38' Fleetwood Excursion that will not slide out. Is ther a reset button somewhere - I don't have a manual for the slides? Motor is on in park I am in Neutral and stabilizers are down - coach is level. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

try engaging the parking break on the MH. our slides will not extend unless that brake is on. if the brake is engaged then release it and re-engage it.

If the keys are in the ignition as mine were .. slides would not extend. Reason was when the key is in the ignition, when turning off the engine it's sort of sloppy and was slightly turned toward accessory. It was the wife who figured out our dilemma.

In your rear outside electrical compartment(the one where the inverter is located) is a fuse panel. Check to see the fuse labeled safety ignition is not blown. It is a three amp fuse.

Our Discovery did that more than once. If your excursion is the same, the control board for each slide is about 4" x 8" and is located on the wall facing you in the bay that has the fuse box and converter. Ours is right behind drivers side rear wheel. On the board will be a small fuse, sometimes clear glass, sometimes white ceramic. Pencil diameter about 1 1/2" long. Should be a 20/240 I think. You can get them at radio shack or napa.

All compartment doors are shut good and I have already tried in and out of gear- parking brake on and off several times - no luck. I just can't figure it out. We have been on the road for 42 days now. This is the first time this has happened.

Are there any lockout switches on the cargo doors that might cause that.I had an RV that had them on it. Try parking brake off and on a few times.

One thing to try is that if it's like our 03 Phaeton, the slides do not operate when the engine is running.

On our previous coach, a 98 Fleetwood PA, there was a fuse in the battery compartment on the wall above the batteries that you had to push to reset if it tripped but I suspect yours is likely different than our PA.
