Hole in skylight over shower

Have a 2013 Ambassador that has been the "coach from hell". Just picked it up from the dealer after it took six weeks to complete all the repairs from issues we found on it's first trip. This morning we found water coming in from around the shower skylight. After taking the inner liner out we found a small hole/crack that appears as though when they were repairing a roof issue perhaps some dropped a tool or something on it. At any rate, we are settled in and hooked up at our summer location and prefer not to pull up stakes and drive the 150 miles back to the dealer for repair. Any suggestions on how to seal that hole until the unit ones back in the fall? We're leaving the liner out so thi gs can dry out but obviously the hole needs repaired. Thanks.

I agree with the duct tape for the short term repair. Eternabond is at least 4 days shipping away. Eternabond should work for a 3-4 year long repair, but you might also want the dealership to replace the broken skylight. So duct tape is good for a few months.

Ours cracked in December when we drove down to Florida. Used duct tape to fix it (in sub-freezing temparatures, using a towel to get it as dry as possible) and the duct tape is still holding now (I finally have the mh home and time to fix it so I'm ordering a replacement).

Tape the hole with a high quality tape.

Gotta ask how big is the hole? Or is this just a crack that leaks. If it is a crack that leaks, go to Ace Hardware and buy plexiglass solvent. It is designed for bonding plexiglass, and is usually sold in the paint department. If you are or know a diabetic, you can use an old needle to dispense the solvent, otherwise dip a q-tip in the solvent and touch it on the crack. The solvent will wick into the crack an bond it back together. If the crack is tight enough, you may not even see it - meaning it will be a permanent fix.

Take this as a lessened learned to inspect ALL of the RV when you drop it off and pick it up from any repair place. That being said, I haven't done it either. It's what we SHOULD do but don't. Of course, someone on this site will claim to do it though.
Now, do you really care about the skylight crack or are you just PO'ed that you didn't catch it? Anyway, stick some EB on it and be done with it. If that doesn't make you happy, replace it. You can't really go back to dealer if you didn't point it out AT the dealership. How does the dealer know what you did with it after you left?

Consider a small tube of 3M marine sealant. It bonds to anything, stays flexible and holds indefinitely. Depending on how Small is small.

If there's a Home Depot nearby, they carry a tape very similar to Eternabond but less expensive. Then, many places, including WM, carry a small 2" wide roll of Eternabond or similar tape. Kool Seal in 2" width is readily available.

The type of tape used to wrap gas pipe is very weather-resistant, inexpensive, and available at any Home Depot or other hardware store.

That good old standby, if you have any around, awning tape, will stay stuck.

You can get a small Eternabond patching it at Walmart. Camping world also has it I believe.

Since it's a temporary fix, you can find exterior grade duct tape at Home Depot that will seal it up (and would actually last many years). It comes in a small roll and is very similar to the aluminum looking stuff they sell but the tape itself is very thick in comparison.
Or, You could use tape that's meant to be used around window flashing which looks like the same stuff only much wider.

Duct tape may work for a couple of months if you just want something cheap until it's replaced. Eternabond is excellent but is quite expensive for a temporary fix.
