Got my beautiful Thor 2016 Four Winds on a F-550 Super duty chassis and cannot find a windshield cover for it.....

Anybody know where I can get one? I've looked everywhere, and I understand ADCO does not make the cover for the F550.

Yes, you will want a windshield cover. We have the Adco white vinyl with built in magnets. FIts our Minnie Winnie 25B great. What model is yours? We've had ours since last Fall & still getting to know it!

What does that mean exactly ?

Are you saying that the size of the windshield and doors is the same across all of those models ? I seriously doubt it.

But I would believe that they all are close enough that it doesn't make any practical difference.

Perhaps you need to take a look at them.

The windshield of a 350 and 450 are IDENTICAL.

I stated in my post the F550 looked slightly different but the new full bonnet style ADCO cover would accommodate it.

Again the mirrors and where they are attached can be different. ADCO had at one time two different covers to accommodate the side MIRROR placement.

There are sun shields available, not sure about covers however.

Nice looking Rig! But a 550 super C? I may be biased, but GMC Super C, look like the real Super C! Good luck, hope you enjoy it.

Same thing with the op's new coach. The windshield and side windows are the same. And with ADCO's new design that actually extends so far 'above' the top of the windshield it will fit. The only thing you need to do is look at what type of mirrors you have. But I see that over the years ADCO's new cover seems to accommodate all the mirror types.

Very satisfied AND his color selection is great, better than the basic white most offer, I have a grey one that looks cool.....

Did you look at the ads in the FMCA magazine? I think there are a few there.

We purchased a cover from Camping world for our Thor Chateau on a Ford chasis and just love it. It has flaps that you can open up during the day so that you can see out the front & sides. Used it for the 1st time as snowbirders for 3 months in the Florida Keys and it worked wonderfully. We just left the flaps down all the time and at night I put up the privacy curtain. You cannot see in during the day but at night with lights on in the unit you can see in. We liked being able to see out and we even rolled the side windows down on several occasions to allow fresh air to flow through with no worries of bugs getting in. We highly recommend this type of cover.

F 550 ?? That's a new one on me. I thought they were all on E chassis.

If that's a really new thing, it will take the accessory makers time to catch up, even if something like an E450 cover will fit.

I'm sure someone here could measure an E450 cover so you could see if it would fit or not. I can do that in a couple of days if nobody else can.

I don't really see what the difference is in the windshield area that would make a standard cover not fit?:?
When ordering the ADCO cover the only diff to be concerned about is what type of side mirrors you have.

You also might find some additional info here on your new coach.

Hopefully someone comes along with something that fits perfectly.

If not, I'm wondering what would be involved with taking the E series model and modifying it to fit? Or at least measuring one and see if it is feasible? If it was just a matter of splicing in some more material in the center of the windshield... If it is both height and width issues prob more trouble than worth. Maybe someone at campground would let you try it on for size.

The Adco covers are very useful wouldn't be without it. But they do have a life expectency..mine last about 2 years.
