Windshield wiper replacement

I need to replace the wipers on our coach. They are 31.5" so I assume 32". Seems the auto stores don't carry that size- 28"max and on line, 32" blades are more expensive than gold. Where is a good place to buy them? Are there alternatives to the 32" that work. Thanks to all whoe share their knowledge.

I had this thread in mind yesterday when I was at the new REV Group repair facility in Alvarado Texas. I had them do a search on my coach and see what the original equipment wiper blade was. I had 28" on it(the way I got it) but they said it shipped with 26" blades. Go figure I would have said 32" or more.

Our Newmar DS has 32 inch wiper blades which can sometimes be hard to find from outside sources at a "reasonable" price. We found both 28 & 32 inch refills at our friendly Oreilly Auto Parts and a good price. The 28 size cleans as much glass area as the 32 inch was duing.

I had a wiper disintegrate while in Utah, stopped at a O'rielly and they had them (32") there the next day

Our coach came with 26" blades. Last replaced them with Rainex 28" blades as obviously the windshield is much larger. Unfortunately the slightly longer blades don't clear as well as the original shorter blades...the difference is very clear.

I'm going back to the shorter blades.

Happened to me one year coming back from Arizona. I pulled into a Chevrolet Dealership in Corning, California. They replaced my blades with new ones for $15.00 plus tax I was back on the road in about 10 minutes.

This is the best place I have found for good quality wipers at a fair price.

I just replaced the blades only last night. I know this is no help but, I bought some blades only years ago and found them while looking for something else. Sure wish you could still do that. The blades now cost like, $50.00 for a set.

I found a lot of odd size blades (really short or really long) in an Ollie's store (closeouts and overstocks chain kinda like Big Lots but nicer) They didn't have any size I could use, as I only have common sizes, but they had some crazy long ones, and stupid short ones (but not for rear windows).

We had the same problem, called the manufacture of our RV and got them cheaper then else where and the right size.
Good Luck

That has to be a rarity as most manufactures usually are quite proud of their "stuff". :B

My blades where 33 inch and hard to find. Called Tiffin and they said they where special made for Tiffin! Price was $17 and some change. They are J hook.
Good Luck

That's interesting. My DS also uses the 32" blades. I currently have a new set of 32" to put on, but I may try the 28" should I ever have a hard time finding 32" blades. But first, I need to change out my wiper arm assemblies with new ones. The current arms are pretty well shot.

Just finished that job. Took entire arm and blade to supply store.
Only one blade would work for 05 Monaco, no 31 inch but ordered 28 inch.
Has a saddle/bolt with adjustable angle on arm assembly. Had to replace one arm as the adjustment teeth were stripped. Glad I took the entire assembly, replaced both arms and complete wiper blade assembly and put another set in lower bay. I looked at a large truck stop on I-70, 28 inch is as long as they stock and no refills.
