BBQ for RV

Any suggestions on what type/brand of propane BBQ to purchase for our RV? Do you prefer the low pressure or high pressure burner? I would rather NOT have the BBQ rack mounted onto the RV. Thanks for your suggestions!

Webber and Char-Broil seem to be the best choices..
I recently saw a question about the Big Green Egg (would you pay over 1,000 dollars.. answer NO) I have a Coleman Road Trip.. Nice on paper. Enough heat for BBQ. but NOT for grilling.. (BBQ is long slow cooking, Grilling hot and fast).

I prefer HIGH pressure NOT mounted on the RV.. I use an Extend-a-flow so I use RV propane. but I don't want the grill mounted on the RV.. I want it away for assorted reasons including cleaning.

I'd go with the Webber line.

We're on our second Weber Go-Anywhere grill. We used the first for decades. The second one we purchased in practically new condition at a garage sale for $15. I keep one at all times in good operating condition by combining parts from the two. I did notice that they went from wooden handles to plastic material handles. I put the old wooden handles onto the newest one because the wooden handles heat up less when using the BBQ.

Boy, it's really too bad that Weber changed the grill and eliminated the Flavorizer Bars ... why can't they just leave Well-Enough alone?

I'm a big fan of this particular weber model and my wife and I have used one for years while camping. We moved last year and in the clean-out process decided the old weber had seen better days (read that as it was really gunked up and we were too lazy to clean it up) and would just purchase a new one after the move. That it turns out, was a mistake.

Earlier this month we spent a week camping at the beach and in preparation I ordered another weber go-anywhere gas grill from Amazon. I didn't even read the reviews, just assumed it would be the same old great portable gas grill. Another mistake.

Received said grill and found that it had been redesigned (cost reduced) to just a shadow of its former self. The flavor bar has been eliminated, the grill grate has been changed to something more akin to a broiler pan, the regulator is some new more complex design, and the fit-and-finish was sub par. I then read the reviews and sure enough people are not happy with this formally great grill.

I would encourage people to read the Amazon reviews before purchasing this grill. Yes, I can spend $60+ and buy replacement flavor bar and grill grate, but I'm so disgusted by this that I'm just returning the piece of junk and will purchase something else.

Sometimes I would like to but a rotisserie for something that big is expensive and mounting it to the RV would be problem like you cited, too.

Guess I'm the only non-Weber one here... been using Q-Grill 500 for several seasons - nice because the legs fold. Just checked, actually less expensive at Camping World than on Amazon! ST

Get yourself a Weber Q, take the regulator off and throw that regulator as far as you can. See my post above on how the take low pressure gas off your rig. No more regulators to fail.

What size cylinder - the spin on type or a full size tank ? If a full size tank you need to make sure the tank is completely turned off when attaching to the grill gas line. Then open the tank valve SLOWLY, then turn on the grill.

I have the Weber go anywhere grill and looks like I have to replace the regulator. I have a very low flame with a new cylinder, anyone else have issues with gas grill regulators going bad? I previously had a coleman grill before and got so frustrated with bad regulators I quit using it. About ready to go back to charcoal.
