Can somebody recommend a really comfortable camp chair?

Like most people here we own or have owned several different kinds of portable folding camp chairs, bag chairs etc...none of them are really comfortable but it hasn't mattered until now. We have downsized to a smaller trailer that has a so-called jackknife sofa which is unbearably uncomfortable and can't be removed. If We could discover a folding chair that is truly comfortable that would solve the problem. We just need something we could sit in for 2 or 3 hours. Note: at this point we are more like "camping in an rv" than rving and that sofa is atrocious...

I can not recommend a comfortable chair because comfort is subjective. A chair that’s comfortable to me might be torturous to the OP. This kind of thing is futile.

Could you build a platform a little higher than the top of the gray tank to set decent furniture on? (replacement sofa or recliners)

My next chair will be a bit of an investment. I’m going to purchase the Kermit Chair.

Here is the Link

Thanks!

If you're into price shopping for only good enough - forget this one.

^^^THIS^^^

Been using "camp" chairs for quite a few years, first one from Walmart camping section. Pretty comfortable, unlike many of these camp chairs it didn't have a bar running across under your knees, but over the years they got worn out.

Bought another set at Walmart, a couple of years ago, different maker, flimsy cloth arms were at the wrong height and the material kept ripping and I kept fixing, absolutely hated them.. Set me bolt up right kind of like a square.

Saw some nice looking camp chairs lats year at Sam's club, had nice rigid arms and has a back that is at an angle.. Very comfortable..

I found out that you need to test drive them before buying.

this thing is heavy, it does go in bag, but its far heavier than the avg 'bag chair' and takes up more space, but it sure is comfy

There is nothing like a good chair for old farts.I go to a place with many to chose from and sit in a couple. Then I find one I like and sit in it in the store for around 20 minutes. If it still feels good I buy it.

Now I take a folding Helinox chair everywhere, even backpacking trips, I take it to parades. It weighs about a pound and a half. I love furniture.

We used to have and love a pair of Strongback chairs. We had them taken and I did not replace them because the insurance didn't believe what they cost. When I can, I am going to replace them. They are not easy to find, but they were great for us.
