Electronic Bug Swatter

Is it wrong that I love to use this? First saw one this past Labor Day down at my brother's place on Lake of the Ozarks. We had a great time swatting and zapping the bugs.

This link says to keep out of reach of children, but our kids loved using it to keep me and my beautiful wife bug free. Fun and useful!!! :B

works best if they are on the ceiling. come up from below and they will almost always fly straight down into the grid!

On windows/walls they tend to fly out and up, so also pretty easy to get, come down to them.

counter tops are harder, they get tricky. But often if they are just flying around slowly moving into their path with get them with a big ZAP.

BTW I had one of the two AA battery ones, then a harbor freight D cell. that harbor freight one is impressive.

Mine uses 2 AA batteries, got it a wally world (where else would I shop) for a couple of bucks. We are on our second one, the first one still works but the duct tape holding it together needs to be replaced. (over zealous operator)

I have been curious as to what it feels like to zap my tongue, but I am smarter then that ๐Ÿ™‚

Can you describe the pain please. So as to prevent my curiosity from overtaking my common sense.

Flys can be tough until you watch them a bit. If they are on a counter top hold the swatter horizontal and bring it straight down on them. They will often fly up and into the swatter. ZAP!!

Ideal tool for those on a high protein diet.

When I first saw them at Harbor Freight I didn't think it would work but for $2 w/coupon I thought, why not try it. Now my wife and I LOVE it. No more chasing that ONE last bug through the house while waving a rolled up newspaper. Now have one for the camper, one for the house, and gave one to our oldest son and his wife because they thought it was great too.

Side note: Seeing the bugs get zapped, I have never ever been tempted to touch the wires. ๐Ÿ˜›

Bought a few once for the men/ boys in the family. My son was about 10 at the time. Told him he could play with it, but DON'T touch the wires. Little while later we heard a yelp & a scream. We didn't even look up from the card game. Someone said, "he just had to touch it."

Yep, a little while later he came in & showed me the blister. Pretty nice sized one for just a battery- operated thing.
