Stain glass "windows"

Over the summer, I have seen many RV door windows that appear to be stain glass. I have found window film for that look, but the film is only for smooth glass. My RV door window is "non" smooth and frosted. Can any one help me?

We tried to replace the window in our Wilderness trailer, but could not get it installed properly. However we have several friends who have installed them and are very happy.

Be aware,if you buy one from "over the boarder" check to make sure that it is square.I didn't,it wasn't,could not make it fit in the window.
Ended up giving it away.Lesson learned!

Don't think much of the fake plastic ones but real stained class windows great in an RV. I made one for our last TT and left it in when I sold it. It's really fairly easy and the basics can be learned quickly. Don't need any fancy tools. I learned the skills myself about 40 yrs ago and don't use any power tools. There are plenty of places to take a week long course to get started.

Made my own custom real stained glass for our door window. It's installed right inside the original window using the existing frame and silicone. Been in there for several years and many miles now.

We used 'Maryanne' for our 'stained glass film' and replaced the pebbled glass with a piece of clear 'Lexanโ„ข'. It came out great! decorative-films-by-maryanne

I used to have the link for them. It is a total replacement of the window are look very nice and professional. There are several outfits that make them. Most seem to be in the Texas area catering to when the snowbirds come down. Do a search you will find many dealers.

here's just but one of them. And he sells the plexi cover which many RV's wanted to protect any little ones or adults from getting injured if it should break. ps It's always good thing to keep your original window so that when you sell it it has the protection glass in it.
