We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned,
so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

i've already started monitoring a few webcams of some of our favourite interior fishing lakes.as of now the snow is really deep and the ice is getting thicker by the hour.it should turn the corner by mid march and i can take a few road trips to see the ice off progression for myself.untill then we hurry up and wait.no fall camping/fishing is making it one of the longest winters yet for the wife and i.every weekend she wants to camp.

I like you guys way of thinking!! We have had over a week of overnite lows of 25 to 35 below zero. Very sick of it!! I actually saw my Montana shivering this morning. My girlfriend bought us tickets to go to Twins Spring Training in Ft. Myers, FL. In the meantime, if we ever get a weekend in the 20s above, I will heat up the Montana and start my annual spring cleaning. ๐Ÿ™‚
Every meal is a feast, everyday is a parade and every paycheck is a fortune!
Spring is coming soon as well Minnesota Twins spring training๐Ÿ˜›

I just finished laying out the first leg of our 3rd cross country trip in 3 years. I was up early and needed something to take my mind off my out of sight heating bills. So I fired up the old laptop, grabbed a pen and pad and started figuring out miles per day and places to camp. Great morning!! God we enjoy this RV thing..

Heading south next Sunday... If these sub-zero temps continue, we may have to rethink the staying up north for the holidays thing! Maybe we can get the kids to head south for a change. ๐Ÿ™‚

Heading south in a few weeks to begin our 2018 camping season. Presently, one degree outside, wind chill -10, and snow covering the rig.

Yep, it's that time of year. Getting the GS up and off to school. Heating bills. Hoping the temps get above single digits so the snow/ice melts and you can actually get to your RV.
Waiting for that stupid groundhog to tell you winter won't be over anytime soon (which you already knew).
Get your taxes ready. And, realize you're another year older.
Sometimes thinking about spring and RVing is all that keeps us sane. :B

Not waiting for spring to go out in the clipper! I just hit the campgrounds in the foothills (that are too hot and crowded come April) in the winter months.
