I need a good disposable glove solution for dumping

Have any of you found a good disposable glove that you are happy with to keep in your water bay? I've got two problems with the cheap box of gloves I found at Home Depot:
  1. They are hard to put on because they are so tight and
  2. I haven't found a simple and elegant solution for hanging them on the door inside the bay to keep them dry.

I use the XL 5mm blue gloves from Harbor Freight. Put velcro on the bottom of the box and attach to wall.

Didn't do the same, I have large hands and the XL are still a little tight, but they don't break.

If he's just eaten some burritos, he's gonna need to use that suit on the input side of the black tank as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

I know that this post is not specifically responsive to a certain brand, but, as Howard above suggested, "no brand" might be best. There is really no viable scientific claim that the practice of using gloves when you dump your rig is of any benefit except to those who manufacture the gloves. BTW, I'm a retired RN with many years of experience.

Think of what you are doing when you dump your tanks. You are removing YOUR waste from your rig. And unless you stick your hand down into that sewer inlet, you are extremely unlikely to encounter anyone else's. Assuming it's just yours, unless you wear gloves when you finish your daily time(s)in your bathroom, you are at no more risk than if you don't.

Yep. I use bare hand & hot water & soap. All natural type of dude here.

What kind of gloves do y'all use when you use the restroom???

When you flush the toilet in a restroom there is not a 30 gallon tank of raw sewage behind it! :W

I wear nitrile gloves at work all the time due to the potential for chemical contact. The reasoning is that you never know who last touched the surface you are about to touch and what they had on their gloves/hands. It's just habit by now, so I naturally wear gloves when handling the sewer hoses and storage bucket. Nitrile for me unless I need something heavy duty, then trionic.

There's a technique for taking them off. Turn them inside out as you do and you'll have a non-contaminated surface by which to handle them for disposal.
I'm done. This isn't a place to be helpful. It's a place where curmudgeons with a superiority complex will nit pick everything. If you want help, go elsewhere. Admin, delete my account please.

For those that do wear disposable gloves to dump, please properly dispose of them when you're done. Toss them in your trash can (or the nearest bio-hazard bin if you think it appropriate). Don't toss them on the ground or rinse them into the park's sewer. They won't cause anything but problems there.

If you're wearing them to keep from getting dirty then any old waste bin will work. If you're wearing them for fear of biohazard they should be placed in proper red biohazard containers. Otherwise, you're just spreading the possibly infectious material around.

96Bounder30E,

Eric:

Your posted black suit is actually perfect because you can still hold your sandwich with either hand, eat it, and sip your drink while waiting for the holding tanks to empty because your mouth is also uncovered. Great thinking and find! Multi-tasking at its best and made so easy!

"yep! That will work."

Actually, it is quite hazardous as neither the sleeve or pant cuff openings are taped shut....possibly allowing biohazards to enter an otherwise sterile environment. Alors!
