I am looking at installing the more ride step above steps but no where can I find out how long they are......when held level with the camper floor how long are they? I need to know so before I spend the money I need to know if they will clear the wall of my enclosed rv port when I deploy them .....

I measured my 4 step Mor-ryde system at 90 degrees to the outside camper wall. It is 51" minimum to deploy. By measuring to third step it looks to be 38" and the second would be 25". I hope this helps.

The more I think about this, I think the distance that is important is the full length when 90 degrees from the trailer, i.e. the swing clearance.

After they are deployed, the distance the steps extend will be less than the swing clearance required when bringing them in or out.

It is a shame that MORryde doesnโ€™t have those numbers available on their web site because that is a fixed number that doesnโ€™t change with the individual rig mounting.

This is exactly what I am trying to determine.....

Well, we have a display model in the store. I'll be there tomorrow. I'll measure the step height and the 90ยฐ distance and we can make a guess as to the ratio of step height to swing distance. I think it's a 2 stepper.

My earlier post shows that the 3 step unit is 38โ€ for a 32โ€ height.

Just measured my 3step MorRyde and it needs 38โ€ clearance 90 degrees from the TT side to deploy. TT floor is about 32โ€ from ground for the 3 step unit.

I have a row of arbvorbites that block that side of the trailer, and that is too close for us..

Thanks that is what I needed to know....

How far they extend out various depending upon the height of the rig, mounting positions.

Iโ€™ve seen some four step models extend out close to five feet and other four step models extend less than three feet.

I canโ€™t find a maximum or minimum length on the MORryde web site. I remember the four steppers Iโ€™ve seen are close to five feet tall in the closed position.

They have 2, 3 and 4 step configurations. We have a chart at the store that we give to customers to measure their height and width and that gives them the number of steps they need. I think this is it.

The feet extend about 6 inches independently so you can level them out.
