Over or Under?

Given some of the recent "discussions", I feel slighted that I haven't had a question or an issue up for debate....errr I mean comment in a long time here.
So, if we can get to double digit responses on things like front end alignments and tire plugs and let's not forget the ever popular 2500 vs 3500 and GVW vs GVWR (and all of it's associated discussions), I want to pose a question to the crater of wisdom here.

Over or under? We all know that over is the best way to install a roll of TeePee in the bathroom in your home.
But what about in an RV, and what if it's a wet or dry bath? Does the orientation matter if it's special RV TeePee or just regular ole store bought?
Is it the same recommendation for single ply vs quilted 2 ply?
What if it's scented?
If my Tee Pee holder is on te outside wall of the RV will installin it one way or another affect the sway of the trailer or camper while towed? Same if it's on a back or front wall? Do you remove the roll less it's a certain % used before towing due to tongue weight limitations or CCC concerns?
This has been heavy on my mind recently, as I've spent the last few weeks living in my camper. Noticed the TeePee roll was installed "under" and I wonder if that added to the body roll in the corners when I drove it over here? Gotta be something, caused it, so figure I'd start with the easy things and move up from there.

That's cool !!!!

But, Around here if your a kid and you do that to someones yard, or trees, you end up in court and have to do community service.

Good news is that if your a minor with no previous convictions and you make the probationary period it doesn't go on your record.

Can't believe this topic still has the runs...

I can't add to the roll direction question, but as I sat and contemplated the other day, this thread crossed my mind, and I suddenly realized I had a useful tip regarding the TP.

And someone conveniently mentioned the paper unrolling while you drive down the road. My wife, in a stroke of genius I might add, solved this problem. And here it is, so brace yourself.

When you mount the roll, over/under as you choose, squeeze the roll so that the cardboard liner becomes an oval. Henceforth, gravity will prevent uncontrolled unrolling of the paper, yet the roll is still fully functional, albeit a bit wobbly.

Doesn't matter all the rolls of tp now have too large a hole. Put them on the tp hanger and they end up in the floor. So when you go to the toilet pick up the roll and take it from the side or if you prefer turn it over an from th other side. Sometimes you can pick up the end of the tp out in the hall when you have been on curvy mtn roads. That;s fun. Saw a tp shooter. Thinking of making an auto dispenser for those who don't have cats.

Saw the over/under topic and thought we were going to discuss shotguns. Guess I won't jump in with any comments about side by sides or automatics. And forget about those pump actions.

And unless you want to get in touch with your inner self, don't buy that cheap one ply toilet paper.

I don't why "over/under?" is even a question anymore. Seth Wheeler of Albany, NY completely settled this in 1891.

The experts (ahem) have spoken: i'ts OVER.

I don't have the link, but the patent for TP shows it to be OVER.
This also leaves spiders fewer places to hide.

Sheeesh! Apparently the guy that patented rolled toilet paper should have been more specific about "over" being the proper orientation of the roll instead of just showing it that way in every drawing.

Maybe it was just easier to draw it that way. And drawing it like that shows the idea better.

Nope, the drawings accurately depict exactly the way the inventor intended the roll to used. Any other way violates his patent... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well of course you would say that Mr. Type A personality ๐Ÿ˜›

I will just let you do what you want while I put the paper on the back of the roll (or from the back)
