Paying for two sites

Has anyone ever paid for two sites so they would be assured of some privacy or more room? At our favorite CG some of non electric sites are a bit close together so we will pay for two sites just wondering if anyone else does this.

I do agree with your post about it being a financial transaction between the camper and the campground owner.

Price and money has never been an issue/justification/deterrent in the conversation. The issue is self centered individuals that have no respect for the wants/needs/rights of others. It's the "I got mine, scr** you attitude." It unfortunately is what our country is becoming. It is more common in young people, but some people that should know better have joined the movement. It's sad but a fact of life.

So true but those in the practice of denying others don't see it that way. They can make fun of us all they want-can't wait until they show up somewhere and can't do what THEY want because someone else has beaten them to it! I'm a firm believer in Karma.

Just look for when the queen of England visited the US. She stayed at the Ahwahnee lodge.


All I could find was this link stating 43 were displaced from the Ahwahnee Hotel because of her stay. They were given other options. The whole park wasn't closed. This link has some interesting things of back in the olden days.

I remember back in 83 when Yosemite was closed for a week so one person could stay there. How many vacation's were ruined because of that. Where was the public outcry. The person was not even a US citizen.
