Portable icemaker

Our rig has a small refrigerator, so no room for a "built in" icemaker.

We bought one of those portable "counter top" models.

Because they take up counter space, I'm looking for ideas on where to place it. (Colleen is very protective of kitchen counter space!)

It wouldn't be friendly to an enclosed cabinet as it generates a LOT of heat in operation.

Wonder what others have done regarding where you "install" these devices?

Mine just sits on the floor, under the overhang from "upgrading' my mattress from rv to standard queen. kitchen + living room + bedroom are all the same in my tiny trailer.

I would go with a small folding or "X-Leg" table most any place handy.

It sits atop a "Coleman Cooler" type ice chest in my RV that is not currently used for anything else.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Ours either sits outside in the outdoor kitchen or on a table. For us it's too noisy to be inside and as you said they generate heat and trying to cool an RV is hard enough without adding heat.

We just set ours on a small folding table outside.
