We started full-timing when my wife was 7 months along. She loves it, and the only change we had to make was to get a portable step to put on the ground below the first step on the trailer. It made it much easier for her to get in, and it also helped her get into the truck (she's VERY short, and eventually had to have a c-section).
There are a number of the pack-and-play type cribs. Some are larger, some smaller. The best one we found is the Graco Travel Lite Crib With Stages. It has a platform that is adjustable for use as a bassinet or crib, and can be lowered to the floor as well. They had a smaller one that was just right for our trailer. It sits between the bed and the dresser in the bedroom, with room to get around it.
For diapers, Huggies Little Snugglers. While it IS possible to still have a blow out, they are the best at reducing their frequency (maybe 5 total from newborn to 7 months, I think it was only 3 or 4). We noticed a recent change, and haven't had ANY with the new version, and our daughter has tried very hard to make it happen.
Order them on Amazon (sign up for Amazon Mom) and get them on a scheduled monthly delivery. It will save you a ton.
For the diaper pail, the Diaper Dekor Plus has been the best we found. It can convert into a garbage can when you are done using it for diapers. It keeps odor to an absolute minimum and the refills for the bags aren't bad. There are others with a smaller footprint depending on your available space. This one is a little larger but it's worth it.
Our daughter has done very well in the trailer, and we love the experience. Just remember, babies make a LOT of laundry. We have a washer and dryer (Pinnacle 18-850 and 18-820) in our trailer and they are SO worth it.
