Is it really necessary to use camping word toilet paper or can any toilet paper that says septic safe be used.

So with all the hype on "septic safe." Is there such a thing as not septic safe?

Also I hear tell that John Wayne let his horse eat the shelled corn and shucks and used the cob. Sometimes he would use two if he was heading to town. Finished with as white one to check out how well the regular one worked. :W

It is a waste of Money to buy RV specific TP. All you need is something that will break down easy. The Cheapest Dollar Store TP will do that. If you want to use the more expensive stuff, you can put it in a trash Can and throw it away. No TP will clog up your Sewer if you do not put it in the Commode.

You must use the right type of toilet paper that breaks down quickly or you will get a pyramid of toilet paper in your tank that is hard to remove. Here is a link to a video that shows you what to test for.

We use whatever I bought the last time on sale. Never had an issue. Last time was Angel Soft, before that Cottonelle and before that Kirkland from Costco. We use plenty of water and don't sweat it.

PP I knew a family growing up who put all paper in wastebasket. Ewww!

LOL it don't matter if you would believe my stepfather would believed you only needed 2 squares of TP for any job. YES HE DID TAKE IT OUT OF THE BATHROOM AND WOULD HAND OUT THE 2 SQUARES AS NEEDED..

Some of the reasoning for using easier dissolved paper is traceable to the forced indtorcution of low waater use toilets. They clog up with just hint of using more than one square of paper. Back when they started it one of the guys, in the officce put a sticier on the stalls "be paper conscious use both sides."

I don't put mine in the toilet..I save it in a paper bag then use it for starting fires. It gives them a nice aroma..
