I have a 2014 Silverado 1500. I just bought a TT. Passport 23RB. dry weight;4730, tongue wt; 525. Length 26โ.
I was sold an Equalizer E4. Friends strongly recommend Reese Dual Cam.
Iโm a new RVโer and have some physical problems.
Hereโs my question;
1) which would have the best combo of โease of useโ and WD/Sway control?
2) Iโm confused about the E4. Does it actually have a โcamโ as well.
Thanks

The Equal-izer 4-pt is a good WDH with integrated sway control. The owners satisfaction rate seems to be about the same as the Reese dual cam system, both quite high. I would not change one for the other.
The EQ like most WDHs can be failry easy to hook up using the following procedure:
Lower tongue onto ball just enough to latch
Latch tongue on ball
Raise tongue/lower jack
Install WD bars
Lower tongue/raise jack
That procedure is greatly assisted with an electric tongue jack.
