That's a great deal and as you said, you can afford to get this one properly fixed and still come out to the good on it.

If it runs out of oil it won't squeal, it may knock a little but mostly it will just stop.

Can you check the serial numbers? I had mine stolen a while back and mine made a sound like that too! OK, just kidding, but that price paid was great.

it does and i have checked the oil manually to insure that the low oil shut off isnt malfunctioning..

what it is is i picked up 2 used 2000ius 2 berg 6 gallon extended run tanks which appear brand new as well as the the parallel kit with the meter on front from a guy who needed money.. all that cost me a grand .. the other genset is close to perfect in how it runs

ill just run it to a honda shop.. with what i paid for it all i can invest back a bit and still be in the black

it runs fine but id rather get it fixed now if it a bearing going out

My first thought would be running out of oil but your 2KW Honda should have a OIL ALERT light on the front panel to check..

I'm sure you will have several authorized HONDA repair facilities around. I too would not want to do anything other than normal operational maintenance on mine.
