I have a new eu2000i that puts out 128.2V, a 3 year old eu2000i that puts out 122.1v and an 11 year old EU1000i that puts out 118.7V More power in the form of voltage means less voltage drop under load, and less amps required. Voltage always drops under heavier amperage load, so keep the voltage up, within reason.

Yes they do work great, but one should be furnished with the generator.
