Camper Leveler

I saw these a couple months ago. After our last trip with trying to get wood planks under the one side to get the TT level I searched and found these easy to use trailer levelers. I contacted Anderson hitches who is the manufacturer. I ordered two of them for $39.99 each shipped to my home. Have not received them but are expecting them next week. I will give them a try the following week and let you know how they work. Just tired of messing with the wood.

Price is high and my worry is if you don't have the cross/chocks for your wheels, how do you stop camper from rolling. I know I can still chocks the other side and suppose that would be adequate. I think I will stick to my wood...

It seems like we get at least one day of rain, which coats everything on the ground with sand. I like to pack things up nice and clean. Plastic is easier to wash and dries faster than wood. I like 'em.
Thanks for the tip!

A gimmicky solution for a problem that was solved long ago with a 2x8

I think it's a pretty neat idea. When they drop the price some, I'll give them a try.

I'm not real impressed - what's going to happen on surfaces like the picture above after a short period of time? Those things will sink into the ground which will cause you to put wood or plastic levelers underneath them. But I like gadgets too, so if it floats your boat, then go sailing!

thanks! mine is OLD.
Why couldn't you use just one leveler and let the other tire hang?

There's a bubble on it for the horizontal level.

Does look slick. Probably easy to make one and try it out. On a related note, camped at the Crandon Off-road races this weekend. Never before have I seen so many campers of all types where no attempt was made to level. Side to side, fore and aft, there must have been a hundred campers just pulled up and parked on some very uneven ground.

A little pricey for me as well. I've always used a piece of 2x8. Only once have I had to stack boards because the site was so bad. I went later that day spent about 30 or so bucks on some tri-level blocks. They were so aggravating to use. Later that week my dad told me what he used to do, if you are on a dirt/grass site, take a water hose to the high side and spray water around the tires until it sinks to level. Of course it wouldn't work in a clay area, but in sandier soil it would.

I am curious if anyone has used these. They look to be a lot easier to use than blocks or planks when I am traveling by myself (most of the time). I have put a huge level (more common on 5vers) on front, so with these I think I would only have to get out and back up/pull forward one time, instead of several like I usually do to get the blocks lined up correctly. that is usually my challenge, backing straight onto blocks and evenly on them.

I know they are a little pricey but if they work and I don't have to carry extra wood a mess with it, it is worth it to me.

It looks like a good idea. Let us know how well it works. But, I agree the price is to expensive for me. Maybe they will get cheaper over time.
