I know where your quote comes from. I have to wonder how long before Europe adds US to the class that contains China and India?
I have to wonder how a seemingly very intelligent person such as yourself, who has been a hard working American all his life can be so anti-US and pro-socialist....

Explanation of China bad air:
So all of a sudden โ China and India ainโt putting nothing into cleaning that situation up. So all that bad air is coming from them. But since we donโt control the air, our good air decide to float over to Chinaโs bad air.
So when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move. So it moves over to our good air space. And now we got to clean that back up.

China has already decided that dealing with the results of climate change makes more sense than trying to stop it... The proof is in their actions, not their words. We all get together for a multination talk about who will commit to what.... And China never makes any real time commitments. It is always far into the future while today they are building coal power plants.
IOW, they will be burning fossil fuels and laughing at us as we ruin our economy chasing the green dream.
An optimist sees the glass as half full.
An pessimist sees it as half empty.
A realist sees the glass as too big.

Europe is now going back to coal, because the have to.
Electricity is going to sky rocket beacuse green energy must be backed up with conventional power plants... So on order to have a reliable energy system, we will need to have two systems... The cost of this will be paid for by someone...Look in the mirror to see who will pay.
Germany and several other countries are temporarily using coal to conserve natural gas, something that was usually coming from Russia and is now in very short supply. This is very easily confirmed.
It has nothing to do with more EVs on the road. lol
