Does anyone on this line actually live in the camper full time the reason I ask it as I am considering it. Any thoughts

Yep. Been so busy truly "letting go" of our real lives and settling in on our current adventure that I have hardly updated the folks here on Rv.net that have helped me out so much over the years......but we have been full-timing in out TC for almost three months now.

It has been a learning experience for sure, despite having camped so much as worker bees. Full-timing has some lessons built in that are hard to learn until you do it. But overall we are doing well and enjoying things with the two of us plus a cat.

You can do it if you want to.

Hmm, this is turning into a pattern. So many full timers to visit, so much beer to drink ๐Ÿ™‚

I full-time in mine every winter from the end of Nov. to the middle of May at a local ski area. I leave the mountain once a week and head on down to Yakima to get propane, beer, water, beer, food, beer, fuel and dump tanks. There are no hookups at the ski area so I have 2 generators, a honda 2000 and the onboard.
I wouldn't trade doing this for anything in the world.

And I'd stop by occasionally to sample some of that beer in that "enclosed trailer" ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cheaprvliving forum can be interesting, but you want to take what you find there with a grain of salt. Some of the advice you will get from the fanatic off-grid and stealth crowd seems to go well over the line to being dangerous and irresponsible.

I lived in mine for about 4mos during construction of our new house. Spent the nights parked at WallyWorld, and I can think of no downsides... Overall it was a great experience, but now that the new 'McMansion' (LOL) is complete I'm beginning to miss the full time RV pals I'd met!!.... At least now the TC has it's very own 40' RV garage ๐Ÿ™‚

I've been full timing (that means 365 days 24/7) in TC for 2 1/2 years - just me except 6 months for trip to Alaska in the beginning when a friend went along. Got rid of the 5er and no regrets!! 3 years before that, I traveled in TC for 6 months of the year.

We are planning to full time in a custom built truck camper. It is a bit larger than your average setup and has a garage. I will likely update over the years during our travels.

Yep ... Full-timed in my Fleetwood Angler for about three years, and then mostly had a base home for several more, but still spent at least half or more of the year in it. We now go at least half the year with two of us ...

Getting ready to sell the base home and go on the road again until we get tired of it ... we now have a Lance 845.
