Wow. Who would have guessed the Cummings with new trans would keep up and sometimes beat the V8 diesel up a hill

Impressive

I think I have made my decision now. the cab is far nicer and now the performance is pretty much the same.

Exactly. All three manufacturers make trucks that are vastly superior to what was available only 5 years ago. Its really no longer a matter of asking which truck is the best... because all the trucks have plenty of power to pull more than most people should be towing with a pickup truck anyways. At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference and price. Yea, I believe 100% that the Ram 1 ton is probably the strongest pickup out there right now... but I also believe that the F350 and GM 3500 trucks have more than enough power to tow just about anything that a pickup is safe to tow.

Congrats to all 3 for building such amazing trucks, and its awesome as a consumer to know that we have so many options of trucks that are just phenominal machines. Buy what you want, ignore what you don't like. Its a juvenile pissing contest at this point... they are all great trucks.

NC,
Just remember '14 models are on the lot's now, and Ford announced their '15 models at the Texas State Fair will be out early next year so it won't be long for the Ford '15 models to be on dealers lots.

The Texas State fair is the biggest truck advertising opportunity in the states (and probably the world). This advertising is no different than when Fred Diaz was reporting the '13 RAM's in Sept '12 was going to be class leading.

Hey Fish

Ford got it's clock cleaned - live with it - talking about 2015 is stupid.

Ford makes some damned good trucks - but not always the best - and sometimes they get beat. For now RAM is the best HD truck.

It would be interesting to know how much weight those trucks were hauling during that test and what direction (E or W) they were headed.

Eastbound from Dillon. Total weight truck and trailer was just over 33,000 pounds.

The Ford test with the 2015 is the most laughable one of any of them so far.
They tested a truck that is not in production, without stating what the power numbers are against 2013 models.

That 2015 may never make it to production. At least not at the power levels it demonstrated in the "test".

It's like running a chipped truck against stock trucks without telling anyone, then when it's production time, take the chip out so it will live and let everyone think it's the same as the truck that did so well in the tests.

The reason for posting the Ford test was to illustrate the '13 RAM's times vs. the Chevy's times because PT.Com decided to leave out the weaker Chevy.

Also your living in a dream world if you think Ford is going to announce power levels at this time.
