Looks like a very nice truck. I priced out a 2017 Laramie Limited/diesel in the fall of 2017. I was quoted 69k plus tax. I plan on getting a quote on one in the next few days .... my expectation is that the price hasn’t changed much over the last 3 years. What do you have to pay for a 2017 now?

4X4, was that quote for a 4X4 with HO, Aisin, or a CDT with 68RFE? I ask as the sticker price on our new to us 2016 3500 DRW Laramie was $69,005, that is with DRW, Aisin, and Moon roof.
The Aisin was $2,595.
The Sunroof $995
The DRW $1,200

It was the HO SRW Laramie Limited. The OP and I are talking Canadian prices. I did get a quote on a 2020 Laramie Limited CTD SRW with sun roof no Aisin yesterday. MSRP was 100600, I was quoted 84k .... I’m sure there is still quite a bit of money on the table at that price. The sales manager said these trucks took about a 10k jump in price in 2019. I talked to the Ford general manager as well and he told me I’d be better off to order a 2021. He has no 2020s and the dealers that do are not very anxious to release them. So I didn’t bother getting any kind of quote from Ford.

OP here again. Just found out the truck is deleted!!! Having second thoughts now.

Personally I would pass, not sure of the laws in Canada, but in the US it is federal law loosely enforced currently, but that could change.

The rules are Provincial and it's not a problem where I am. More concerned about future problems. There is still about 1 1/2 year diesel and powertrain warranty. Basically worthless with the delete.

And I also don't like the sound!!!

Gonna pass.

Deleted doesn't necessarily mean loud. A couple of my friends have deleted their Cummins trucks and they sound very similar to mine which is not deleted. Now, if it has a 5" exhaust and no muffler, that is a different story! :B

Just picked up a ‘16 that has exactly that. 5” straight pipe.
Haven’t towed with it yet, dunno how loud the drone will be, but it sure sounds sweet running bobtail!
Cheap n easy to pop a muffler in it though.

OP here. The Ram may need new tires. I have a line on a set of 275/60 20 tires. Current tires are 285/65s. There is bit of a difference in size. The 285s being the larger.

I'm thinking okay? Any tire "experts" or Ram owners that have done this?

Thanks
Scott

Those tires are a little short and a little bit light, but great for towing if you don’t load the rear axle super heavy.

Bonus!!! Seriously.
But if you’re intent on it being choked up, I just bought a 2016 and all the original emissions parts came with it. Sitting in a pile in front of the shop. Brand new basically. I’d love to sell em to you if you were closer!

I went with 295/70R18 on mine from the factory size. I did a leveling kit on the front and haven't had any scrubbing issues. I also went ahead and replaced all the shocks since I was already underneath it. My speedometer is off by a 1 mph, nothing big.

$55k CDN is about $41k US, so that's a pretty good price. I paid $37k for my 2015 with 80k miles.
