Lost vent flap for exhuast shroud

Anyone know where I can order a replacement flap online? I didn't put the tabs over top of the flap when I left, and when I got home - the flap was no longer in the shroud.

I was not aware of what brand the op is looking for, I didn’t know that was established…
I also lost the damper from a Ventline brand…

The part that he was looking for is made by Heng Mfg., Ventline is not a replacement. Even the cutout is a different size. Which is best? Flip a coin. Ventline is probably easier to find retail.

Save your money. Make something better. The tabs will break too easily.

Ours went. My dealer only had the whole assembly for like $10 to $15 (can't remember exactly) I thought I'd just bend and insert the flapper rather than take off the whole housing and reinstall the new. Well, one of the tabs broke while I was trying to put it in, and I was trying very gingerly to insert it.

It's sorta SOP for campers. The replacement for our '07 ROO was $35 incl shipping. Our new TT has a totally different type, so maybe.......but that's still part of our "close up and get ready to leave" procedures. Not in the mood to invest again.

I also forgot one time and now have a screen in place. Seems to work and I do not have to remember to Close it.

Well, just experienced this problem with this product/manufacturer and used this repair mod last night with a slight twist. Used gorilla glue and aluminum foil tape. So far so good - THANKS for the idea. Funny thing is, we had same vent flapper on previous TT for 9 years, never had a problem. Have had the 5'r for 15 months, it broke last week. Go figure????

It's the vent from the oven hood. There's a flap held in place with little flippers. If you forget to close the flap with the flippers, it might fall off on the road.

Standard part at any RV store. Look closely you most likely will see that it is cracked and just buying the flap isn't going to help. They sell the whole replacement unit.

They rattle and fall off too often for me so I stuff a cut to fit hard foam in mine when traveling. Just have to remember to take it out if you cook on the stove.

I lost mine also. Replaced it with a stainless steel screen I made from a 12 X 12 sheet I got from W. W. Grainger.
