Need a Transporter

Just purchased my first truck camper from an auction site. Problem is my truck is in for repairs and I need to get it moved before the truck will be repaired.

The camper is located in Pennsylvania and I need to have it moved to Maryland. It's a big boy, so it takes a dually to move.

I've been searching Google but haven't found any companies that can move these.

Any direction you guys can provide would be appreciated.

Easy was the short answer. The truth is somewhere between mine and yours. Uship, like any 'bargain' needs to be waded through. I have had several items shipped through them including a camper. To be honest, I don't really care how they get it to it's destination..they are insured (yes, I check that..and carry my own insurance on the items). A couple of emails during the bidding process can clarify and weed out much, very quickly. It's a viable option for sure.

Biggest mistake folks make when searching for carriers; they don't articulate well, don't provide the needed information, to the shippers. They don't care what color it is, or how important it is to your wife, but they do need the dimensions and weight, accessibility, limitations on loading or securing, etc.

I was surprised to see it go for that much, I am curious how much work that thing is going to have on that front nose and roof, that is quite a bit of eternabond on that roof. Stains on the bed looks like a roof leak and it has a couch instead of a table...eww

What kind of timeframe are you looking at needing to pick it up and where in MD is it going?

And with low of horror stories when Hill Billy operating on the site abounded the load on side of the road when something went wrong.
Uship is like Craigslist - you will find lot of honest listings, but also lot of shady business.
Rollbacks are mostly wide bodies, so will not fit under camper jacks.
I would arrange with seller to hold the camper till the truck gets fixed.
Too much risk in transporting by hired help, unless you follow the suggestion of finding who dealers use.

If I was closer, I'd do it, but diesel still isn't free.

Call a towing Co with a roll back. Call several as the price will be all over the place.

Rent trailer tie it down with straps and tow it with pickup truck either rented or a friend.

One of the members here had a similar problem. He rented a dump truck from Home Depot ( I think it was). Loaded it on and tied it down with some heavy duty ratchet straps.
I don't think he was travelling as far as you need to, but it may be an option. Hopefully he will be along shortly to better address your question.
