Picked it up this afternoon and I have to be honest- it's a little higher than my black one was. Maybe 1-2" higher. Both were 6" kits but the Fabtech is higher than the Cognito was. Don't think it will be an issue with any of the trailers other than maybe the TH. Won't know till late Spring when I bring the TH home from the desert.
Real happy overall with the truck- lots of nice features my black one didn't have.

Looks nice!!! One concern I would have is your rear tires are past your mudflaps. A AzzMonkey cop may use that as an excuse to pull you over and possibly write a ticket for that and???

Anyway have fun with it!

White is nice, I like a little Gold on mine.

I have fender flares going on the truck as soon as I get it home and have a few minutes to install them.

Good call that will really add to the BEEFY look! Post some pics when they are on.

Useless for towing anything over 4-5000lbs. The lifted suspension is softer and will make the rear sag and the headlights aim for the stars..

For those of you towing TT's or FW's with high door thresholds, you may want to check into these scissor steps that replace your slide/fold out steps: http://www.torklift.com/index.php/products/steps-handrails/glowstep-revolution

After going from a high sitting high profile bumper pull toy hauler to a low slung enclosed trailer and feeling the difference in handling, I question cranking anything higher that already starts with a high profile. With many of the FW's already approaching 13.5' overall height, I would also be looking at what your actual height is now with modifications. I always forget that GM's sit lower than the other two brands, so maybe that much lift is not that extreme.

But it rides pretty darn flat- Maybe the thicker 7k axles help?
I can see that yours definitely rides nose high.

My unit has 7K axles under it too. BTW, I'm not doubting you, just curious. I have to run the air low in my 2005 in the rear also to keep the camper close to level. I have a 2.5" leveling kit in that truck so it rides like it's squatted when hooked to the camper.

Randy- 6" lift and 35" tires.

This truck replaces a 2011 that was exactly the same height... The 2011 towed my 24k # fifth wheel TH just fine all over the Sierra and Rocky Mt's. It also towed my 24k (GVWR) gooseneck flatbed just fine, and my stock trailer and my LQ horse trailer. No difference in how/where my headlights pointed when towing. However, my trailer axles sit under the spring pack (not inside of it) and it has good size G rated tires so it rides a little higher than most.
As a side note- there is no softer lifted suspension. It uses the same spring pack the truck comes off the showroom floor with.
Good thoughts and I appreciate the feedback/concern but misplaced.

I would love to see your rig hooked up. My stock ride height '13 Ram has my 5er running nose high with the hitches adjusted to where I only have 5.5" of clearance. If I put a 6" lift under my truck I would have to put a 8" kit under the 5er to get it to even be close to level. My 5er has the springs on top of the axles and has tall tires too. It takes four steps to make it to the ground without huge gaps between the steps.
