New Camper!

Worked on it all weekend to get a lot of the stuff out of my "old" 2012 Arctic Fox 1150 and moved into my "new to me" 2012 Eagle Cap 1160 dual-slide. Picked it up last Thursday, and been working on it on and off since just adding/moving stuff.

So far, I've put in:
half dozen golf cart batteries
2kw/4kw peak inverter
80 amp/4 gauge charge circuit to the truck
HD satellite TV
32" LED tv (to be finished when my mount shows up)

Truck is loaded/wet, full with 75 gallons water-- NO Timbrens or airbags.

An access cover hiding the tanks provided room for 4 more 6v batteries. And yes, I put two vents in to vent them off the side of the TC.

There's enough room in this thing that I plan on putting in a brass pole and disco lights there in the center (kidding)

TV is going to get mounted to the wall as soon as the mounts I ordered show up. I ordered 2 sets of quick-release mounts, and am putting the second one outside. Satellite receiver is mounted right there above the Microwave oven. Audio-out from the satellite is patched into the stereo, so when I move the TV outside, the stereo outside speakers will pipe the sound out. Good for Nascar, Football, Movie night by the campfire, annoying the neighbors, etc...

It's a beautiful camper alright but I see it's weight has already started to cause cracking issues with your driveway.

Could not resist. Wish you many happy adventures in the new rig.

Nice looking rig ! I'm sure you're going to enjoy it. As much as I love my TC, I might be tempted to change for a unit with room enough for a couch like that, and the side entry is nice too. Congrats !

You must be smiling every time you look outside and see that set up. It looks great and looking forward to learning about your adventures, traveling in it.

I like your battery setup. You have mentioned you have plans for venting to the outside, for your off gassing. I have a large bank of GC2 Interstates too. In two years + of service now, I have started finding the surrounding organic materials displaying gas damage from the off gassing of the these batteries. My batteries exercise every day and I have used about 1.2 g of distilled water over a twelve month period, over 8 batteries. With my personal experience I would voice some concern in viewing the pristine galley you are obviously planning on using. If you could isolate these batteries to vent outside, without venting in the galley, would be my suggestion. Also, what means are you using for maintaining this battery bank. Access appears to be challenging.

I wish I had that reclining sofa!

Real nice rig you have there. It looks ver similar to my Chalet TS-116. I like the rear latter too which would be nice to store lawn chairs. What's the height of it from ground to the very top of the camper?

That truly takes truck campers to whole new level. It should have its own classification it's so incredible. I don't think I'd ever want to come home.

Got to love the 7.3's.
