Havn't been to Klutina. Where is it at? We like to visit the Tangle Lake BLM site frequently.
Thanks!

Cool !
We usually go up Brenwick-Craig Rd and find a spot on the Ahtna land or if we're not staying long just to Klutina Salmon Charters campground.

Wow! Great to see so many other Alaskans out there. Thanks for the response, we'll all have to meet up sometime along one of our gin clear rivers and have an Alaskan brew...or two..
Let's all head down to the Klutina sometime in the middle of June!

Welcome to the forum - Just curious if the Alaska bunch likes to use the Dually rear wheels for their TC campers...
Seems like the safe way to go here in the lower 48 states especially if you are going back off the power grids...
I always wanted the TC truck campers but could never come up with a good way to bring along all my 'needed' junk I like to have with me... My trailer front deck and truck bed are loaded down pretty good on my off-road POPUP trailer trips.
I would probably have to tow a utility trailer if I had a Truck camper.
Then there is what do you do after you setup. You have no truck to go check-out the neighborhood with. I don't think I would like the idea of off-loading the camper and running off and leaving it unattended somewhere back off the power grid trails.
Will probably just stick with my OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer camper.
