Welcome. We hope you learn a lot! It gets very interesting here sometimes (most of the time LOL).

As far as a generator goes. You will want a 3500W to run your trailer. This will allow you to run the A/C and other things necessary for "camping"! 😉

Welcome..Got to agree with you on better than a hotel vacation. My favorite time of day is early morning before everyone else is up, cup of coffee and sitting under the awning enjoying the start of a new day. Many happy camping trips and memories.

I purchased a 27ft Aspen Trail. It has one slide out queen bed I pull it
With a 2014 Crew cab Dodge with the 5.7 Hemi. No problems so far
Kinda in the market for a generator / inverter for my off the grid fishing trips lol
Undecided on make or size in need to run everything.
The few trips my wife and I got in last year were very enjoyable
And relaxing, sure beats motel vacation.
