Only ford in the lot

As I sit here in Goshen IN waiting for Jayco to fix our fiver Jayco is putting me up for the week. The motel I'm in is where many RV haulers stay when they are laying over here. What I noticed today surprised me, most of the pickups used by the haulers are Ram pickups with a few GMCs and Chevys. Only a couple of Fords here tonight. (One of them being mine) Seems to me that ford has done a pretty good job of ruining their name in the RV hauler industry.

I have found great coffee: Cumberland Farms' dark roast. It's...well, it's ALMOST strong enough. And a big (20oz) cup is $1. 😄

This comes from a business evaluation, not just backing the brand, which I do! Chevys have the best ride but beat themselves apart in extreme conditions. Dodges front ends and drive trains are their weakest poits in extreme driving. I'll admit I had to eat crow during the era of the 6.0's and 6.4's! I actually converted 5 of my trucks to Cummins engines during that embarrassing run!

I'm talking about road conditions to drill sites that don't include oilfield well maintained roads. I'm talking about exploratory drilling roads. Just one mans opinion, I'm old and I'm entitled!

That's weird because I have replaced just as many front end parts on our Fords as I have our Dodges and Chevy's.

Put in rv.net terms, if my coffee looks like virgin Mobil 1 synthetic it's too weak-- give me the stuff that looks like dyno oil that hasn't been changed in 15000 miles.

HAHAHA!!! I keep a sample of my oil from my oil burner at 10,000 miles so I can keep the consistency and color correct with my coffee. That's the way I drink it also. I don't put additives in my truck or my coffee. The best cup of coffee is the one that everyone passes up that's been cookin' for hours to get to the fresh pot.:W

I have several cattle ranchers as neighbors and friends. At least ten that I can think of. One Dodge 3500 DRW, The rest drive F350's.

What does this say? I don't know, just my observation.

Oh yea, I like McDonalds coffee. There are no Dunkins around here.

As a consumer of about 50 oz a day of the stuff, I've found that, for me, it's not about the brand of coffee, it's the STRENGTH!

Even the super-cheap stuff is good if you use enough of it...

Put in rv.net terms, if my coffee looks like virgin Mobil 1 synthetic it's too weak-- give me the stuff that looks like dyno oil that hasn't been changed in 15000 miles.

My taste buds have the final say. I don't care how many cups of coffee are sold by GM/Ford/Ram er, umm, I meant McDonalds/Dunkin/Starbucks.
