This is interesting, a political slug fest pitting:
A Liberal from Utah (must be the only one in the entire State).
A Conservative from DC (The District housing the most Liberal President ever to hold the office).
Sorry, I find it a little comical.
I didn't even know there was another cable news network except for Fox. Guess I need to look at my Direct TV listing guide again.

Add in the outrageous government regulations imposed on the auto makers that have taken effect in the last 10 years or so and it is quite understandable how the prices have jumped so dramatically. And this is only the start.
Boy you really buy into that propaganda. The automakers said they would go out of business if they had to put in seat belts. and said the same when ABS brakes were mandated and again with catalytic converters and again with air bags. They cry wolf again and again and some people still bite.
GM had problems as their executives were greedy and they got the company into the finance business. 100% of the GM losses that required a government bailout were tied to their financial division.
The cost of the bailout was $4 billion higher thanks to the group that included Mitt Romney that told the feds that they would shut down Delphi (and shut down GM as its 100% of its cars required Delphi parts) that demanded a 3000 percent return on their investment or else...
New pickup truck has a lot of things that my first truck lacked, like a heater, air conditioner, air conditioned seats, heated seats, rear camera, GPS navigation, Bose sound system, Bluetooth, power seats, fog lights, air bags, seat belts, ABS brakes, limited slip differential, 6-speed transmission, power steering, power brakes, AM FM radio, XM radio, and a rear seat and doors for passengers.
The big three keep making prettier trucks with more bling and people will pay for it. Who can argue with success?
We have become a nation of sheep that happily elects wolves to public office as we take the advice of the jackals at the Fox propaganda network. The price of new trucks is less the issue than the lack of any increase in worker's wages since the days when Nixon was in the White House.

Great Googley-Moogley another thread gone political...
Right now, somewhere in a parellel universe, there's a website devoted to political discourse in which a thread just morphed into a discussion about tow vehicles.
