I have a 19ft 2013 Shadow Cruiser. The fiber glass in the front of the trailer has a ripple in it.Took it back to the dealer and the panel was replaced, now that panel has a ripple. Is this normal for a fiberglass trailer.

Wow! we are fairly new and uneducated to TT's ...we would never think that was normal..especially since the dealer obviously didn't think so either. I would get in touch with the manufacturer directly.

Have the dealer give it a "pressurized leak test". They hook up a big intake fan to a open roof vent & turn it on and spray seam areas with a soapy solution looking for bubbles. Where the bubbles are- there's the leak(s).

General RV in Wixom, Michigan does this on each new unit sold.
Good luck,

Regardless of what others say, it is NOT normal. Even though you don't believe you have a leak, I would be willing to bet if you were to climb a ladder and inspect the joint at the front cap and roof, you would indeed find a leak. It could very well be a tiny crack in the joint sealant or very small hole that allows enough water to seep in between the front cap bonded layers. I inspect my roof about once every 3 months and I have caught and repaired a number of tiny holes in the joint sealant with Dicor Lap sealant. There does not have to be water dripping inside the unit for there to be a leak that can cause damage.

HECK NO --not NORMAL !!!!!!!:E~~~~:S

Hopefully the original repair documented & dated, it needs to be done again and should be covered under warranty. With a extension of warranty in respect to the front cap.

Good Luck, keep us posted on how they follow-up and/or fix.

Looks like delamination due to a water leak. Get it to the dealer this week!

I donโ€™t believe it is normal and I donโ€™t believe it should be considered normal, and I would reject that as an answer without more to prove itโ€ฆ

If it were mine I would expect it to be repaired, by the mfg.โ€ฆ

My buddy's did this last year. Then over the winter it went away and all this year it was fine. Supposedly it is a floating type of wall and the covering will do this on occasion, at least that is what he was told. I can somewhat belive it. He has no leaks so we don't believe it's from that. Since you seen others doing the same thing and some were brand new i tend to believe it could be normal.

Mine did this years ago and then it just split (literally split)... I was told it was (water) roof leaking running down the front side of the camper. The pressure of the swelling materials underneath just split the fiberboard right up the middle.

Take it back to the dealer and if that does not work find a rep from the manfacturer to get invovled. You don't want to keep it like that or I see lots more problems down the road.
