I think it might be easier to talk about what might be right as there is so much wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start.

I could tell it was a "multiuse stop" as they got lunch at the Pizza place while I noticed one of them hitting the laundry facility across the parking lot.

I hope you kick in something at the donation box. I don't know the particulars of the Forest Grove Lodge, but many Elk Lodges use these types of services as fund raisers for their charity activities.

Always do and just did again this evening, usually at least $5. Also passed through your โ€˜hood on highway 30 on our way back from Washington today.

Lord, lighten up y'all. Don't go getting your panties in a bind worrying about what folks think about you and your neighbors.

Besides, I'm sure he just misspoke... I bet he meant western Virginia.

Well, not as bad a squat as some of those boys trekking up to and back from Oceano dunes with their THs, and they are always pushing 70 mph too.

Came onto this thread and thought it was a Class A discussion group. Especially the quip about West Virginia. You're concerned about their set up? Then walk up friendly and tell them how to improve it. We're brothers and sisters in this TC business.

Don't have to be an Elk, there is no charge but they have a box for donations.

Yep. That's my "home" dump station too. Always clean and the most I've had to wait was for 1 other rig to finish.

On a side note... Many Lodges have RV parking, some (like Tillamook & Toledo, OR) have their own campgrounds. You have to be an Elk to stay, but the daily rates are usually a lot less than the campground down the road. There are a lot of Elks who have joined Lodges just so they can get inexpensive RV spots as they travel the country.

I hope someone stops them before they hit the highway with that setup.

But... some people just don't know any better. Sometimes all they know is that it is a TRUCK, so they can put anything on it! They can tow anything with it! Heck, the salesman said we have plenty of truck!

As previously posted, who knows what the backstory is about this.

Pretty sure I know where this is...I haven't seen this circus or it's clown leader yet, but I will tell you this...Washington county has a patrol that will have this kind of violation of everything you could pull out of a hat off the road here in a second...it probably has already happened of the time of this post...all kinds of new laws here...this would not fly or hold water.

2nd Sighting
Was driving to Forest Grove this morning about 11:30 saw the same truck/camper in F.G.
It seemed to be doing ok going down the road but the back was lower than ideal.
They turned in Jack-in-the-box and were still there when we drove home later after dumping our
tanks at F.G. Elks lodge. Also saw a sign at a nearby church that said "Don't Judge, you don't know the
paths that others have had to take."

Alright we might a get a chance to see as we pass through Cornelius on Friday!
