Same drive train in the Ford or GM and certain Ram models.....so that weight won't strain the drive train.
What you need for a 16k trailer is a truck with enough axle/tires to carry loads. Especially RAWR as its going to carry most if not all the load.
There are a few one ton SRW trucks with just enough axle/tire capacity (7000-7050 RAWR) but they will be maxed out.
For a 16k trailer I would go with any of the one ton DRW trucks with those big 9375 up to 9800 RAWR.
