And again not exactly "tucked up nicely". I have wheeled my camper in places that those tubes would have taken serious hits from large rocks.
Here is mine and my corner jacks are pretty high off the ground, much more so then any Stabil-lift could ever be.
As to not wheeling in places where the jacks need to come off, a former member here(now passed) Don Curley, did indeed remove his regularly to wheel his truck with the Outfitter on it in some pretty rough terrain. It is a simple procedure to remove them as (at least on Outfitters) there is a plug on the power wires and only a few bolts to deal with.

I have a Stable Lift and wouldn't go back to corner jacks.
The corner jacks are just as vulnerable to off road damage. In fact in some ways the corner jacks are even more vulnerable to damage.
The Stable Lift tucks up pretty nicely and is a LOT stronger and more durable. It can take a pretty good hit that would tear a corner jack right off your camper.
The ultimate would be corner jacks removed while on the truck, but if you're doing that serious off roading you probably won't be carrying a camper.
