Seems difficult to believe in this day an age that parks would arbitrarily discriminate. Why not just post a sign stating what color you need to be, qualifying income and minimum amount spent on your RV?

Back in 2005 I made reservations in Campground at Lake Tahoe California for one night. They ask how old my TC was, I responded three years old. When I arrived, I could not believe what I saw. The place looked like a RV scrap yard, and age of the RVs had very little to do with it. Junk and garbage everywhere, including RVs with tarps over the top. Fact is, my TC is a 1988 Bigfoot. It was 17 years old, and well maintained at that time.
Unless you are well versed in Bigfoot campers, if the Bigfoot TC is reasonably maintained, you cannot tell its age. Never has the age of my Bigfoot age been questioned when I pull into a campground. I have only been ask its age two times when making reservations, I simply lied both times with no consequences and a clear conscience.
That's exactly right. That's what I use to do. Never had them come out and check the VIN, but your rig needs to look good and then there's no trouble.

They are going to miss your camping fee more than you will miss their camping spot.
If I ever run into this problem, I'll send a courteous, but poignant letter to the RV park expressing my dissapointment in their policy explaining the large investment most of us have in our rigs. I'd also point out that their community is missing out on the revenue of not only our paying the RV park fee, but also fuel purchases, grocery store and restaurant visits, ice cream shops (a must for us) and cc the letter to the local Chamber of Commerce. Lastly, also inform them we're adding them to a list of cities to avoid on an international TC forum.
Second thought, we'll just boondock like we normally do ;).

Someone should write a post and then sticky it. Subject: Parks who do not accept truck campers. Then when ever one runs across this, they post their circumstances, and some whiz bang on here keeps track of it on Google maps as a layer. Ha!
Then you can see at a glance those places who don't like us!
Hey!? Could be fun!
