Unbelievably stupid question

On the side and rear of my Lance 850 is a small, spring-loaded clip type thing about 3 inches long and maybe an inch wide. Each one looks very functional and useful...but for what? I've seen them on fifth wheels too but I've never had a chance to ask anyone what they are.
Yeah. I'm a rank amateur at this.

So they're dual purpose clips. Brilliant!
Thanks again for all the feedback. This is the reason I first came here. I was looking for information on the best type of hard side camper after my wife and I decided the popup Palomino just wasn't working for us anymore. That was just a couple of months ago and I was able to pick up my Lance used at a great price thanks to reading up on all the posts about such matters.
When I finally get it out of the driveway, I'll submit a proper trip report with photos and all the trimmings.
Again, you guys rock.

I tell my students that the only stupid question is 1) the one that they do not ask or 2) the one that they again and again and do not learn from it.

You guys rock. I just went out and tried them and yes, they're door flap holders for the compartments that swing upward.
Heaps of thanks!
I've had this thing less than a month and unfortunately haven't had it out yet so I've only played a bin with it in my driveway.

It's probably the clip to hold open the storage doors that are hinged on the top of the door for batteries, dump valves, general storage, etc.? Allows them to stay open so you have two hands available to pull stuff out. Picture?
