Three glasses of wine = dumb threads.

So where do you have your garbage can/hang your garbage bag/throw your crap? Tell me it's not on the floor like in your truck...

We hang our plastic garbage bags we get from the stores on the non-entry side of the RV next to ours because we don't want that stinky stuff even on our site! Got to be one step ahead of the game!!! he he

I wonder how difficult it would be to cut out a trap door.
Some of us don't have the dance hall floor space as others...cough, cough DAK cough.

DAk...don't pay any attention...enjoy the floor space as I do in my 1161.

As for whose bags...it happens to be what ever comes up next in the bag holder...I notice I just used one a few days ago from a trip to the GOM. Since I am going to be stripping out the TC for rebuild I have not been replenishing my stock. I do double up when in the can cause I encounter unexpected holes. Have you ever wondered how the holes occur, they certainly were not there when lugging the goods from the store to your vehicle...do I have plastic bag bugs in my bag holder...time to fumigate...but with what..suggestions welcome!!!

Now how many pages is this going to go? I wonder if anyone has gained any insight to a better way!!!! :>)))

I'm a wastebasket user, with little plastic bags. It fits nice and neat right below the refrigerator close to the stove and sink.

Now for the controversial trash opinions. Which store has the best bags to use as trash can liners? I re-use the brown plastic bags from the Commissary on base (I'm retired USAF). They compliment the earthtones inside my camper...hahaha

Count me in as Wastebasket user too, with a grocery sack liner. I made a cover for it, to use as an extra seat when I put my boots on or work on something closer to the floor.

Our garbage bag is a plastic grocery bag that fits perfectly in an ancient, half oval, plastic coated wire basket (that used to be under our stick house sink in years past screwed to the cabinet door), screwed to the bulkhead between the dinette and the space under the fridge. We are stocking up on bags as they will soon go the way of buggy whips. This has been excellent for us over the last 14 years of TC ownership. I still have one more coated wire basket in reserve as I have not seen them for sale for decades.

Garbage under the sink on a hanger made for plastic bags. TP in water heater compartment in Ziploc bag accessible through TP holder door by throne. PT in whatever space available. Wine in fridge.

Now, ain't we something. Not a humble plastic container, but a stainless chrome container with a foot pedal opener. And with enough floor space so that it's not in the way. :B

Congrats on your new (to you) TC.

We have a small plastic basket (dollar store) that's about 10" tall and 8" wide. We put a small grocery bag in it and throw it out as it's filled a couple times a day.
It's small enough to fit on the counter behind our sink. Takes up no room.

Somewhere I picked up a plastic do-hickey that slips over a cabinet door or drawer and holds a plastic grocery bag wide open. When full it goes into a cinch sack garbage bag that hangs on a jack outside the door. The other side of the door is for returnables.

I use a mop bucket with grocery/Walmart plastic bags. That way i have a pail in case I need water quick for a fire, ect. When its full, I sneak to the next camper and throw them under it. ( A few shots of rum)

We found a plastic container that is about 8 inches in diameter and 14 inches tall with a flat side so it can sit closer to the wall. it fits nicely on the floor with most of it under the overhang created by the frig. I put a large round piece of velcro hooks on the bottom so it sticks to the carpet and doesn't fall over. Just the right size for the plastic grocery bags (actually a little too small but when you pull the bag out it settles to the bottom for the last few things you want to throw in).

If we are in one place for more than a day (very seldom) we hang a larger bag on the jack bracket so we don't have to make as many trips to the dumpster.
