Favorite Passport America campgrounds?

Are you willing to share your "finds" in Passport America? What places have you found that are especially nice, allow longer stays or are more generous in when they will allow PA use? I am really only interested in those that would allow reservations. I'm not talking about a one-night pass-through along the freeway (unless it is wonderful). It looks like many of these won't allow any "best season" use or stays for more than one night. It seems that the gas to check it out would cost more thanjust staying somewhere else...especially those that won't allow reservations. Picky, aren't I ๐Ÿ™‚

The 2 best PA parks I've used are Jolly Roger in Marathon, FL and the Encure resort in Ormond Beach, FL.

Jolly Roger will allow 5 nights in a 6 month period and Sunshine Holiday Encore resort in Ormond Beach allows the discount for a 7 night stay. We weren't supposed to be allowed to use the discount in Ormond Beach during the Easter weekend, which was in March, but they allowed it with no problem at all.

That creek wood farm looks decent, but they have a lot of negatives in the notes.

You mean the month and holiday exclusions? You're right about that, but a great value for springtime and September. We like the place a lot and paid full freight for the quiet creekside sites twice this year. It's an older crowd, I don't recall seeing kids there in August. (But plenty of places like in Cherokee for families.)

Not beneficial for us as we have a kid in school, except maybe spring break week. But the. We are looking for a warmer destination by that time.

Stagecoach RV in Deming New Mexico. They don't accept any discounts. It's a clean facility with clean showers, a laundry facility and clubhouse with pool tables and TV room. They have no daily use fee, they only accept "donations" and you can make reservations. Long term is $150/month. We "donated" $20/night for full 50amp hookups.....Dennis

We enjoyed the Narrows Too in Trenton Maine just outside of Bar Harbor. They gave us a seven night rate. Nice place with full hook ups overlooking the harbor.

Silver Spur, Silverton, OR. a few miles from Salem, OR. Nicest PA park we've been in..stayed almost a month at PA rate in the peak RV season.
