Furnace Creek NP

We stayed at the NP Furnace Creek site 45 full hookup site. Of the 125 sites only 18 have full hookups. All the water goes through an RO system so water is soft. Electricity was so-so even at 50 amps so I used my Autoformer. Sewer was at very rear of site so I had to use my 10 foot extension piece.

Had a great time. You can see pictures of the site and adventures we went on at our Blog.

I have it separated into four parts,

Enjoy,
Brian and Patty

We stayed in a FHU site down at stovepipe Wells. This also is in Death Valley NP. DVNP is something to see. There is a lot of things to see on the unpaved 4X4 roads. We rented a Jeep there at furnace creek. Stovepipe wells is not as busy as furnace creek. It is also much cheaper. With your senior NP card its only 16.00 per night for 50 amp FHU site.

FHU sites are fairly new, and NPS plans to install more FHU as soon as the bucks arrive. Looks like about 1/4 of the sites are done.

Right, and one of the most awesome camping spots in the USA ... my all time favorite NP. Altho' Yellowstone comes close except for crowds.
