We will be going to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg this summer. Looking for a nice campground with full hookups to stay in. Any suggestions?

We LOVE Camp Rivers Landing in Pigeon Forge (use to be Twin Mnt. RV). Rivers Edge sites too tight! You are close to Dollywood and walking distance to Dixie Stampede. If you are wanting the quieter side of camping we are BIG fans of Tremont Hills in Townsend.

Lots of choices and price range. Your best bet is to spend some time here checking them all out for yourself. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg

Nicely maintained.

Very nice. Clean. Get a site that backs up to the stream.

We stayed at Jellystone outside of Gatlinburg a couple of years ago. Nice park with lots of trees, it gave us the camping feel.

Hello Sharon, long time no talk.

We just got back from Pigeon Forge and we always stay at Pine Mountain. We go every Christmas and New Year.

Great park. PM if you have specific questions.

Bear Cove Village is clean, full hookup and smack dab in the middle of Pigeon Forge yet tucked back off the main drag.

There are lots of choices with quite a few on the trolley route. Use an APP like RVPARKY to look around the area for what is suitable to you. What type of a rig do you have? Do you prefer to be within walking distance of the excitement? The trolley is a great way to get around too if you don't want to deal with finding parking. Most parks in the area are big rig friendly and full hook up. The ones in the NP are not. Traffic can be insane on the main drag and yes, it can take hours to go a couple miles. Google maps is helpful in finding those roads that parallel the main road and can bypass some of the log jam.

I like Creekside in Pigeon Forge. Full hook up, pull through, and convenient to all attractions, including the National Park.

I would go along with Pine Mountain RV Paved roads and if weather turns bad you can walk across street and use inside pool and hot tub LOL
