Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

**A photo width of 500 works really well.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

What was your site number at River Plantation?

We were in site 18. We had front neighbors for only one night. The day before we left, our back neighbors came in. Other than that, we were in the corner all by ourselves. It was very nice and peaceful.

Sevierville, TN
River Plantation RV Park

This is a very clean campground. Bath houses have A/C and heat and are very clean and nice. However, if you want in the action of Pigeon Forge, this is not a campground for you. It is close to the malls in Sevierville. We will be back.

Nice little RV Park. They have a nice pond with catch and release fishing. VERY nice bath rooms. (Yes, I mean bathrooms just like you have at home!!). There is not much shade.

Patapsco Valley State Park, Ellicott City, MD
September 10-12, 2010
Site 401 โ€“ Hollofield Area

Yep still looks exactly the same as last year and the year before.

This year we visited the Recycled Tire Playground at the Hilton Area of the state park. There is also primitive camping in this area of the park. The Hilton Area is about a 10-15 minute drive from the Hollofield Area โ€“ the playground is designed for kids ages 5-12.

We wanted to try to make it back to the Avalon/Orange Grove/Glen Artney area yesterday before we came home to see Cascade Falls again but it was raining and no one felt like walking in the rain so we just packed up and left.

Traveled from Vancouver to Minneapolis and stayed at a lot of campgrounds. Here's one that we stayed in Montana:

Bear Canyon Campground, Bozeman, MT
Pull-through Site #4. Water, electricity, sewer. No fire pit. One night.
Rig: GMC Yukon XL Denali and 35' Keystone Premier 31BH

The campground was pretty and the location convenient (just off the I-90 outside of town) but the pull-through sites were very narrow. Good for passing through on a one night stay (with a playground for the kids and an inviting pool) but not for anything longer because the neighbors were too close for comfort. There was a picnic table at each site, but not much room for setting up anything else.

I have to say, however, that Montana has some of the best sunsets out there :C

Perfect timing on your photo post - we are headed to Montana in the next couple of weeks, so will keep this place in mind if we need to stop overnight in Bozeman. It would be tight for us especially since we have three slides but I think it would do for an overnighter

We were at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach, SC from Labor Day Monday 9/6 thru Friday 9/10. We were on site HH21. Had a wonderful time. There was a nice crowd but not too many golf carts....but enough, lol.
