We have a moveable island which is nice because it allows for access to refrigerator when slides are in. The only down fall is that the island is stored at the back of the trailer between the two slides during travel. As everyone knows, the back of the trailer takes the most bounce. The island, although it stays in place, tends to bounce up and has caused slight damage to the slide wall trim. Had I not noticed a gouge on both sides near floor, I wouldn't have known. It is very minor and only sticks out if you know it's there but I KNOW it's there so it is bothersome to me. They should have designed some way to anchor it to the floor in the back so this couldn't happen. My wheels are still spinning on this one...I'm determined to figure something out! That is my only disappointment with a moveable island. I love the extra counter space it makes when set up plus it provides extra storage in the kitchen.

We have a moveable island in our Heartland and it has locking wheels and three tie downs as well. They are basically the same ones you see being used for tying down chairs to the floor. Just have to remember to unhook two of them in the front before sliding out the slides. Keeps it in place.

Things we really like is 2 ACs, dual pane windows, Big Foot.
We have a nice enclosed bath but wish we had a walk through bath, these enclosed bath rooms take up too much space.

We also have a nice island with a sink which is nice some of the time but folks these islands take up a lot of space and also shuts off the back of trailer when slides are in our next trailer will not have and island

We started out 18 years ago pretty well equipped but over the years added something new to keep our Carriage fresh and up to date. So the answers are:
1. What do you love that you have in your trailer that you couldn't live without?
Everything!
2. What do you wish that you had in your trailer?
I really thought about this and I can't come up with anything that I don't have because we have everything in our Carriage that we had in our Stix N Bricks homes.
3. What could you go without?
Absolutely Nothing!
4. Have you found issues with the w/d and the d/w?
No. We did wear out our dishwasher so we are on our 2nd one but 2 in 18 years of continuous use is pretty darned good.
We are still on our original Sears Stackable w/d-Gee I hope I haven't just jinxed myself
:S
5. Do you really use the outdoor kitchen and fireplace a lot?
Don't have an outdoor kitchen and don't want one but we use our fireplace all the time--Well not here in Provo, UT as it's been in the 90's!!

Disk brakes
Some kind of equaflex or center point air ride.
Air pin box is nice.

No use for outdoor kitchen but would be ok I guess.

We have had our 37ft. 5er for 6 years and we decided we didn't want an outside kitchen. We LOVE our fireplace and the central vacuum. w/d and d/w are not necessary for us.

Since we do some boon docking I want more solar panels and a DARN good Inverter, Larger fresh water tank(40 gals. now). All in one bathroom. Painted exterior. 6 point leveling system. All LED lamps. A GOOD exhaust fan over stove. Dual pane windows and a second A/C unit.

And the biggest MUST HAVE is three back up cameras and really good TPMS. and the money to pay for all of this stuff.

1. What do you love that you have in your trailer that you couldn't live without?

Porcelain toilet (great flush action), outside kitchen

2. What do you wish that you had in your trailer?
Ceiling Fan, surround sound (TV does not play through stereo)

3. What could you go without?
Second door to bathroom (slider form the bedroom)

4. Have you found issues with the w/d and the d/w? N/A

5. Do you really use the outdoor kitchen and fireplace a lot?
I use our electric fireplace all the time in the fall as a heater, plus it adds nice ambiance to the living area.

I love the outside kitchen more for the extra fridge (beer!). I use the cooktop occasionally. It is also nice to have the extra cabinets for the bug spray and outdoorsy stuff.
