Ugh...too nose high?

First tow with the new TV. How bad does it look?

With trailer hitched up to truck
Slap a carpenters level on the bottom of bedroom slideout
Then drop the front of level down until bubble is level.

How much?

Do your shackles have any other holes for changing position of leak springs?
I gained 3" by moving my spring eyes down one hole.


IF no holes in shackles and axles are already under springs:
Then this 'alignment kit' may be enough. It aligns the axles BUT also raises trailer 2"----------LINK

Otherwise.....
You have to cut shackles off
Weld a square tube (2", 3", 4"---whatever height you need to raise) on bottom of frame
Then weld shackles back on

Limited choices when need to raise trailer
Axle flip
Alignment kit-----2"
Weld square tubing on

Just eyeballing the bottom of the trailer, front to back, it doesn't look too bad. I'd take a tape measure and measure from ground to bottom of your trailer, front and back and see if it's too bad. From the slope of the top of the trailer and the dark paint on the bottom front, it makes it look nose high but may not be bad. Good luck

Thanks guys. I'm gonna talk to the folks at my local RV dealership, see what they recommend too. I'm thinking the camper has to come up, just not sure of the best way to do it.

Let out some air in the back tires. That should level it out.

It also looks like its as close to the bed rails as you would want to be. So the track adjuster kit would get you 2 inches, what tire size do you have, can you go bigger? Take several measurements, truck squatted plate height, trailer removed level pin height.

The line under the trailer on both sides of the wheels look about the same as the roof line... I like a couple or three inches but this is really too far...

I guess you have the correct size tires on the trailer..

The hitch also appears to be back of the truck axle as well which may be an optical illusion. That would be another NO-NO/// Is your truck a jacked-up 4WD type??? If so it seems they don't go go well with fifth wheel trailers.

Only two choices Lower the truck or raise the trailer

I think, given the slope of the roof, it may look worse than it is...need measurements to really tell.

Looks like you will have to raise the fifth wheel. Either longer spring shackles or axles under the springs.
